I'm really looking forward to seeing the Apprentice's @Nick_Hewer present Countdown. :-)
Apologies for no visuals for visual jokes but most of these are OK with just audio.
Thought of you when I saw these programmes Ron so have recorded them as a gift just for you, your family and friends. There are a couple of blank spots where the iPlayer was buffering but the rest is OK. Enjoy!
Bye bye rediculous, re-hashed and overly-long storylines. Bye bye EastEnders. Can't stand them anymore I'm going cold turkey. No more EastEnders for me!!
The pic above is illustrating the new site for Coronation Street when it moves in 2012 from central Manchester to Salford.
My cousin, Owen Williams, works at BBC News in the sports section and is welcoming his move to Salford from London as it makes it easier to travel here to the north east to visit his mum, my aunt Gwen, with his family. :-)

Arena - Produced By George Martin.

Enjoy! IMO it's a superb programme. =D
Great Britain was a very different place for entertainment in the first half of the 20th century. Many went to theatres for their entertainment and this wonderful BBC Four programme illustrates the variety business so well. Even The Beatles went on a tour as a variety act in the early 60s.
Having watched Doddy at work in the 'An Audience With Ken Dodd' I wanted to capture the Arena programme about him too, which shows a more serious side to the man. Very interesting programme - Arena is a great long-running series.
