Summer came at last! We've waited such a long time for it to arrive!
Remember my little finger snapped off (twice) a while back? The photos are probably tagged 'health' or 'me' - or both!
Anyway, since Thursday last week I have had prolonged periods of typing for long documents and trying to do these documents within timescales is both physically and mentally demanding. I feel incredibly stressed and tense. The hours of typing without a break have been long but I dare not take time out as I am in fear of missing deadlines.
My previous boss said that if I felt pain/fatigue with my little finger and wrist, I am to take a break to rest it.
I have not been able to rest it sufficiently and so the pain in my finger has become intense today and my wrist pain returned.
I looked down at my hand and the finger was twitching in pain, desparate for a rest.
I am being pressured to get much work done quickly.
I feel exhausted and all I would like is for *someone* to make me a coffee in appreciation of my hard work. Nobody offers to make me one. I can't spare the time to get one. Even my Dee refuses to make me coffees anymore. :'-(
Whoever made that decision should be shot!!
Life is lonelier nowadays without being involved and emails like this just bring back feelings of embarrassment, guilt and regret. To stay away is to avoid any more stupid and insensitive behaviour from me again, plus avoids me having to endure one particular person who is widely disliked but is fawned upon by those with power and misguided loyalty. Life would be so much nicer for everyone if that disliked person just wasn't there. I stay away from lots of good, friendly people because of one intolerable person. That was and is my choice. Many participants expressed their dislike privately to me of their intense dislike of the particular person but they continue to attend, probably still privately expressing their disgust. I choose not to anymore.
I might open up my Stickam room tonight as I listen to my followed boos and/or some music and share for any lurkers who pass by. Because I'm a giving person. :-)
Even my spoffle couldn't stop this bloody strong gale from getting through to my iPhone mic!
